Wedding Requirements
- check_circle One year advance planning — We encourage couples to begin the process at least 12 months before your desired wedding date.
- check_circle Parish Registration — Couples should be registered members of St. Helena's or have a strong connection to our parish community.
- check_circle Marriage Preparation — Participate in our diocesan-approved marriage preparation program (Pre-Cana).
- check_circle Required Documents — Baptismal certificates, Confirmation certificates, and civil marriage license.

We require at least one year advance planning. This allows time for marriage preparation, document gathering, and liturgy planning to ensure your wedding is spiritually meaningful and personally reflective of your commitment.
Can we have photography during the ceremony? expand_more
Yes, but we ask that photographers remain unobtrusive and follow our guidelines. No flash during the ceremony, and photographers should stay in designated areas to maintain the reverence of the sacrament.
What about music? expand_more
Our music director will work with you to select appropriate liturgical music. All music must be sacred in nature and approved by the parish. We can recommend vocalists and instrumentalists if needed.
Is there a wedding coordinator? expand_more
